À propos des auteurs

Tella Adeyinka is a Professor and Head of the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Guidance and Counselling/Political Science from the University of Ibadan, where he graduated with Second Class Honour, Upper Division. He earned two Master’s Degrees from the same institution, one in Counselling Psychology and another in Library and Information Studies. His academic journey continued with a Ph.D. in Test, Measurement, and Evaluation, initially at the University of Ibadan and later supported by a Commonwealth Scholarship at the University of Botswana, Gaborone. Tella has authored numerous articles in international journals and contributed chapters to books, focusing on ICT4Development, e-learning, information literacy, and information ethics. Tella serves as Editor for several prominent journals and has edited multiple reference texts in Information Science. Recognized for his scholarly contributions, he has received awards such as the Dr. T.M. Salisu Award for Most Published Librarian in Nigeria and the Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Paper. He holds a C2 researcher rating from the South African National Research Foundation and has been appointed a Distinguished Professor at the University of South Africa. Beyond academia, Tella is actively engaged in mentoring Ph.D. candidates and masters students across several universities and welcomes opportunities for research collaboration both locally and internationally. He is committed to his family and his faith, believing that “WITH HIM, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE”.

Tom Kwanya is a Professor in the Department of Information and Knowledge Management, the Technical University of Kenya. He is currently also serving as the Director of the School of Information and Communication Studies. Prior to joining academics fulltime in 2013, he worked as a consultant on public information and knowledge management. Prof. Kwanya is a published author of several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, two university-level books, several conference papers and four edited books. He has also supervised and examined several postgraduate dissertations and theses. He has served as an external examiner of information science in several universities in Kenya and abroad. He sits in the Information Science Services Technical Committee of the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).
