Widely recognized in South Carolina and beyond, Patrick A. Strubbe, ChFC, CLU, RFC is the founder and owner of Preservation Specialists, LLC. His mission is to help his clients retire with confidence. He believes retirement should be about being able to do what you want, when you want, with whom you want – all on your own terms. He has eighteen years experience specializing in retirement planning, and is the host of the radio show “Retire with Confidence with Pat Strubbe” on WVOC. He has been featured in USA Today, Investors Business Daily and Columbia Business Monthly. From 2009 through July of 2013, he was the monthly finance columnist for the Lexington County Chronicle. In March of 2012, the first edition of this book reached the Amazon.com best seller list. Since May of 2012, he has been featured on WIS NBC-TV as a financial educator. After growing up in Indiana, Pat graduated with honors from Purdue University, and lives in Columbia with his wife Janelle and kids Carter, Ava and Gabby. Janelle is a nurse, and Carter and Ava attend Dutch Fork High School. Little Gabby is busy growing every day! They belong to and attend Hope Lutheran Church in Irmo, SC where Pat is the elder of finance.
