“Buck,” as he is known on the air, was first licensed in the mid-sixties as a young teenager. Today, he holds an Amateur Extra Class Radio License. Buck stands on the ARRL Honor Roll with 336 entities out of 340 confirmed and has earned the 8 Band DXCC award. He is also an active instructor and a Volunteer Examiner. He’s been named Elmer (Trainer) of the Year by the Rappahannock Valley Amateur Radio Club three times. Buck is also the author of "Pass Your Amateur Radio Technician Class Test - The Easy Way" and "Pass Your Amateur Radio General Class Test - The Easy Way."
