Mark Prather is the founder and president of Mark 1 Mortgage and Real Estate since 1981. Since then, Prather has built his legacy by founding multiple companies that have served thousands of families through home purchasing, loan financing, investments and retirement investment savings. In 2004, Prather accurately predicted the collapse of the sub-prime market and massive foreclosures through multiple mass media interviews. In anticipation of the credit crunch, Prather formed Quest Funding, Inc., a private money-lender designed to fund alternative loans for the non-traditional borrower. Prather is also an avid philanthropist, low-income and emancipated teens become financially literate and funding college scholarships through his non-profit Glory to God.
