Synopsis

Growing up as a country girl, the sights and sounds of nature surrounded me. Until the year of 2014, spring was my favorite season. That year, I began compiling the poems of this book, and my love for the rustic beauty of autumn began. Inspired by the changing colors of the season, often viewed during my daily morning walks, "I Wrote a Poem of Autumn" became my sixth book in print, my second book of nature poems, and autumn became my favorite season! À propos de l'auteur

"I Wrote a Poem of Autumn" is the sixth book of Clara B. Ray, author, Christian writer, poet, and freelance writer, who resides in Oklahoma City. The fifty-nine year old mother of two and grandmother of five, grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma, as Clara Finley. She became a licensed minister in 1994, and is a State of Oklahoma retiree. Clara has a background rich in advocacy, self-help, and health & wellness, including three years as a former health & wellness coordinator for the Oklahoma Dept. of Public Safety, and a YWCA certified sexual assault & domestic violence advocate. In 1993, Clara became co-host and evangelist for a weekly broadcast on KTLV Radio, preaching on-air for three years. In those capacities, she gained years of writing and motivational speaking experience, media exposure that included numerous television appearances, and the respect of many mental health professionals.
