Hello, my name is Andrew Elberts, I am a family man first, a teacher second and an author/illustrator third. I have been teaching math since 2008 in Tanzania, Milwaukee, Racine and now Naperville. I am teaching 6-8 grade math, but have taught all the way up to Calculus. I started writing children's books because I love geometry and believe children of all ages can understand the basics. Math is a language, that students often struggle with. They struggle with the language because of a lack of exposure to the terms. My goal is to expose children to the language while entertaining them at the same time. I test all my material on my toddler daughter. If she doesn't like it, then it's back to the drawing board.
