Kenzo Hayashi is a graphic and book designer from Ehime Prefecture who has won numerous honors. Makie Nakamura is an award-winning copywriter from Tokyo. As husband and wife, they also collaborate on picture books: Makie writes the text and Kenzo provides the illustrations. The live together in Japan.
