Synopsis

I am no longer Derrin Aethelbeorn. That name has all but ceased to exist. The college sophomore and kidnapping victim I once was is no more, for in the eyes of my friends—as well as my enemies—he has been superseded by a greater and more powerful force. My enemies call me the Infidel, but to my friends, I am the Liberator. Our captors are building a compact nuclear weapon for mass production, and they plan on sneaking them into the US and detonating them in heavily populated cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The twist? Under the influence of rings harboring a mysterious evil that controls their minds, the captives are aiding their cause. I was to escape the facility, tell the US Government of my findings, and convince them to intervene. But they sent me back on a recon mission, and something went wrong. I was ambushed, and now our enemies know everything. My task is now clear. Without hope of military assistance, I must find and depose the Ringbearer—a man said to control the power of the rings—lead a revolt to free the captives from the dungeons, and escape the facility before all goes up in flames. Jonathan Bryant is an enthusiastic Christian author, a twenty-year-old man with a desire to, as Second Corinthians 5:9 says, ‘make it (his) aim to please Christ.’ He has received much acclaim for his first published novel and the first book of The Ringbearer’s Trilogy, ‘Relentless’, and is known for enrapturing his readers in his intense, suspense-filled tales. Jonathan lives in Kentucky, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice as he plans on becoming a local Police Officer, while continuing in his free time to write, and to produce short films for his production label, Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam Productions.
