In early 2014 Laura and Veronica Childs (mother and daughter) embarked on a mission to lose weight. They ditched the carbohydrates and increased their fat intake. At 52 years of age, Laura lost 70 pounds and Veronica has lost 55 pounds. They are both at their ideal weight and have kept the weight off by eating the same delicious foods as when they started. This mother and daughter team continued on their journey by learning more about health and nutrition. Veronica earned her Nutritional Therapist certification within a few months of intense study.
