Synopsis

The Guides are the first of their kind. Not sequels, not prequels, but equals. Two comedic novels that can be read in either order to learn both sides of the story of… Four thirtysomething New Yorkers drinking and flirting their way through New York’s bars one typical Friday night...before things get crazy. After too many beers, Devin and Les meet Cheryl and Erin and the night suddenly gets interesting. While the guys discuss why being a single man is like being on a constant bar crawl and how the lines between success and failure in love and sex are often blurry, the girls discover the only pick-up line that truly matters, what men really want, and why everything in the world of love and sex seems to happen for a reason. This Special Edition printing of The Guides includes both novels: The Guide for a Single Man and The Guide for a Single Woman.
