Graduating from grade twelve as an adult student, and then obtaining a college diploma, Trudy overcame her anxieties and a learning disability to excel in her academic program. At the age of sixty, she started her first business. Now enjoying retirement at seventy-five, Trudy remains a woman of courage, faith, and perseverance. She lives solo in Oak Bay, British Columbia, where she enjoys receiving visits from her children and grandchildren, who live in Ontario and Florida.
