Before starting a travel agency in Victoria, B.C. in 1994, he spent time in a number of different areas of transportation including as a logistics officer in the Canadian Forces, an air traffic controller in Toronto, a logistics manager for a major Canadian safety equipment and optical group of companies, and as a vice president of a large Maritimes-based Canadian transportation company. John lives in the Niagara region of Ontario, with his wife, Kathy, and their dog Suzy.
