Synopsis

Designed to make you smile and perhaps look at the world a little differently, From Happy Dog to Dolly Parton is a collection of Chris Thomas's first 50 musings, bringing together laughter, reflection and devotion in easy-to-read, bite-size snips with colourful illustrations.
The author began to publish some of his reflections, prompted by his vicar, on his local church website. It soon became a place where 80 years spanning a childhood in the Second World War, National Service, 35 years as a public servant and much more came to life in 250-word stories, infused with his Christian faith and its application today.
This first volume is published to celebrate Chris's 80th birthday and we look forward to many more inspirational stories in years to come.
