Synopsis

A history of the Tower of London as told by it's most famous and long standing residents, the ravens. From 1066 and the Norman invasion, through the medieval and Tudor periods, to the modern age and the spectacular poppies installation of 2014, the ravens take us through the history of the Tower. Each page of the story is accompanied by a full colour hand-drawn illustration. A fun and informative look at the story of the Tower and those involved, both famous and infamous, with an introductory foreword by the Tower Ravenmaster himself.
