Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book presents an electrical method for extracting water from oil, a process known as electrical dehydration. It begins by examining emulsions and the methods used to break them down, with special focus on electrical methods. The author, an expert in oil production, shares research detailing the development and testing of an electrical process for breaking down oil emulsions. They discovered that an insulating sheath around one electrode prevents electrical breakdown, eliminates fire hazard, requires no agitation, and is enclosed and compact for rugged and automatic operation. The auxiliary equipment, in districts not serviced by electric lines, consists of a storage battery and a spark coil rather than an expensive electrical generating unit. For an average point of collection producing 15 barrels of oil per day, the cost of equipment is much less than the cost of equipment used in previous processes. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N° de réf. du vendeur 9781527732704_0
