Dietrich. The author meticulously recorded feed intake, weight gain, and feed costs for each group over the experimental period. The findings demonstrate that pigs fed according to the Dietrich standard outperformed those fed by the Wolff and Lahmann method, gaining more weight at a lower cost per pound. The author concludes that the Dietrich standard is superior for promoting efficient weight gain and profitability in swine production.
