Since Oberlin College has had such close connections with China over a period of years, it is a cause Of gratification that she has had on her faty genuine schol ars pertaining to things Chinese. In fact, Professor and Mrs. Danton are so equally gifted in their linguistic accomplishments that no better choice could have been made for the translation of this small but significant work by a famous German Sinologue.
