Synopsis
This book presents decision tables for examining individual provisions, information networks for representing the precedence among provisions, and classification systems for studying their scope and arrangement. This will be an aid to standards writers and regulators to abstract pertinent material from the Provisions for incorporation in the large number of existing standards and regulations through which the Provisions will be implemented. It will also be a challenge to designers and builders to study and understand the seismic design and construction concepts embodied in the Provisions and to incorporate these concepts in their design and construction practices.
