Synopsis
Scratchy, the green wheelie bin, is whizzing around on the road on a windy night. He bumps into Precious, the blue recycle bin, and they, in turn, cause Compo, the little silver compost bucket, to fly off the wall and land in the village stream. It's a while before Compo is rescued. Helped by the local wildlife, everyone is back straight (well, nearly) by morning, leaving only the bin man wondering what's been going on! The first in a charming and amusing series of adventures with these rural wheelie bin characters and their compost bucket friends. Inhabiting a world of their own, they have their own unique perspective on what goes on in the village, and their owners don't suspect a thing.

Rachael Gill and her husband have nine children between them and know what children can get up to! She teaches piano and singing to children, young people and adults, which she regards as fun, not work. She lives in Northamptonshire with her husband, daughter and a very noisy cat.
