Richard Harris is Professor of Quantitative Social Geography at the School of Geographical Sciences, University of Bristol and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. Professor Ron Johnston OBE (1937-2020) was a Fellow of the British Academy and the Academy of Social Sciences.

Ron Johnston (1941-2020) was a Professor of Geography at the University of Bristol. Charles Pattie is a Professor of Geography at the University of Sheffield.
