Ann Tan ("Bossy Smurf") is an AVM Rupture and Stroke Survivor. Her brain bled in April 2011 and she learned to walk at the end of that year. Her deficits remain full-body, however, and gait training will be her way of life. David Murgueytio ("Animal Muppet") is her Personal Trainer. He is teaching her how to navigate life after brain injury. Jessica Murgeytio, RD ("Smurfette") is David's lovely wife and Ann's dietician. She keeps us all in line.
