Synopsis

Emily Conn is seven years old and in second grade. She has finally accepted the idea that she must go to school and get an education, but then her world is suddenly shaken when her family moves from her beloved Mare Creek in Floyd County, Kentucky, and her older twin sisters get married. The fourth book in this series is A Fine Thing.

A copyeditor and graduate of Pikeville College, Pikeville, Kentucky, Tina Rae Collins also received a PhD in Biblical Studies from Northwestern Theological Seminary. She has written numerous religious and educational articles, and for five years she was host/director of “Writers Reading,” a cable TV show on WPRG-5 of Harold, Kentucky. She resides in Lexington, Kentucky, and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
