The topics are developed from basic to more advanced levels which guide students towards achieving the necessary knowledge and problem-solving skills up to Grade 6 level. Some areas covered in the text which are very crucial to passing Numeracy Tests are: Properties of the different Mathematical Operations such as Identity Properties, Commutative Properties and Associative Properties; Terminologies used in each Mathematical Operation such as addends, sum, subtrahend, minuend, difference, product, multiplier, multiplicand, quotient, divisor, dividend etc.; How to solve any problems without regrouping and with regrouping; How to find the missing parts of any arithmetic problems; How to solve problems with more than one operations using BODMAS. The text develops students understanding of these vital concepts with easy to understand methodologies. Concepts are explained using colour coded digits to not only tell students what to do but also to show them how it is done. Additionally, further hints are given where necessary in callouts and banners to help students understandings and mastery of the topics. The topics are presented in a logical and sequential manner with clear explanations and exercises that will allow the students to test their understanding of the concepts taught. At the end of the volume, students are presented with a Certificate of Achievement as a testament to their excellent performance in the given Mastery Tests and as a motivational tool to encourage them as they move forward towards greater accomplishments and mastery of Numeracy Tests. She has a passion for teaching and enjoys seeing students of all cognitive abilities succeed academically. Ms. Alexander is a qualified teacher and holds a master's degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance (MBA-Finance) from the University of Leicester, UK. At present, she is a Business Studies Teacher at a public high school in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
