Angela S. Gibson was born and raised in Ewing, NJ by her late mother, Eleanor Vaughan and her late grandmother Anna Mae Allen. She contributes her beliefs and determination to the teachings of these two beautiful women. She also contributes her love of story writing to her eight elder brothers & sisters who have poured love and life experiences in her spirit. She is a published author, blogger and contributor to Max Ads Magazine and also writes under the pen name, Ms. Ellie’s Girl. Angela has always enjoyed reading and storytelling and even though she has written several gospel plays, “God Can Turn it Around” and “I Have A Dream”, she never imagined writing and publishing her own book. The Colors of God, her first published children’s book, was inspired by a dream that she had where children with different colored faces, ((blue, yellow, red, etc.), were playing together at the feet of Jesus Christ. The Colors of God was written to open dialogue with children about race and culture and to teach them to love the skin that they’re in. Her current projects are her 2nd Children’s book, “BEAUTIFUL” and her first fiction novel, “Blood Stains,” which is being written to encourage women who have suffered from the effects of domestic violence. Angela’s favorite scripture is “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” (Psalm 139:14) She has 3 children and 9 grandchildren and lives with her husband Pastor Harvey Gibson, Jr. , grandson Rashead and dog, Sweetie Pie in Westampton, N.J.
