À propos de l'auteur

Rodney Curtis is the author of three non-fiction books — one of which, A “cute” Leukemia — has  been discussed, recommended and written about by cancer doctors and professional organizations across the country. NPR did a piece on it and he became known as the funny cancer survivor. But this book is entirely different: it’s his first foray into the fictional world. His writing has been described as a cross between Dave Barry and David Sedaris.  Rodney is a veteran journalist with 30 years of experience whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Detroit News & Free Press and dozens of other publications. He has taught at Michigan State University and every year volunteers at Western Kentucky University's Mountain Workshops where they produce a 100-page book, within less than a week, featuring a different small, rural town. Said a recent reviewer, “If a comet were blasting toward earth, I'd want to be in the same room with Rodney Curtis — and I'd want my family to be there too. Crowds would gather. We would need a Superdome, with Rodney holding the mic.” You can find out just scads more about him at RodneyCurtis.com.
