Synopsis

Who were those first believers, the earliest followers of The Way? How can we hope to understand a journey of faith for persons who lived 2,000 years ago? Your answer: The well-researched novel For Such a Time as This. Examine your faith through the eyes of those struggling beneath the boot of a cruel Roman emperor and torn from their homeland. Here is a means of travel into an ancient era, to involve yourself in authentic history, and to gather those seeds of faith sown into fresh soil by Jesus’ own witnesses. For Such a Time as This is your ticket. Take hold of it and discover brothers and sisters who found The Way. Like them, allow the Savior to change you anew. Note about the cover: In ancient times, Italy’s streets were often flooded by heavy rains. Pedestrians crossed these puddled roadways using large stepping stones like those seen in the cover photograph, taken of a preserved First-Century road. Careful spacing of these stones allowed wheels of chariots and carts to pass.
