Synopsis

Someone is killing former members of a rock band

A drowned man and a businessman killed in his own gym are being treated as accidents, but both men used to play in the same rock band. Detective Inspector Angus Henderson becomes interested as he once liked the band but can’t convince his superiors, and at times even himself, that criminal activity is going on.

If he continues to investigate, is he in danger of making a complete fool of himself for ‘inventing’ crime, as his bosses think, or can he find a devious criminal who is taking revenge on a band that were uncompromising in their pursuit of success?

Iain Cameron was born in Glasgow and moved to Brighton in the early eighties. 'One Last Lesson' is the first novel to feature the laconic and at times ruthless Scottish detective, DI Angus Henderson of Sussex Police who roams the dark streets of Brighton and barns and outhouses of rural Sussex, poking his nose where it's not wanted.
