Hunter Talen was born in the concrete jungle of Baltimore, Maryland on August 22, 1977. From an early age she knew that she wanted to leave a positive mark on the world and was driven by big hopes and dreams. Somewhere along the way, she fell off course, and her life wasn’t going as she had planned. Faced by the disappointments of her life, incomplete college studies, a failed marriage, and the added challenge of single motherhood, she had to find a way rediscover hope, revamp her dreams, and reinvent herself. What it would take to accomplish that wasn’t always clear. The path to figure it out was filled with even more disappointments, mistakes, challenges and doldrums. One day while working at a dead end job, she had a conversation with a coworker who was realizing her dreams and on her way to unimaginable success with her baking business. She revealed that her secret was keeping her faith strong working in her natural gifts, and putting God first. This concept wasn’t new to Hunter, but had long been overshadowed by her will. As the saying goes the light bulb went off, and she realized that she should have been seeking His will all along. With that she handed Him the wheel, and is now enjoying the ride excited to see where it will take her.
