Since 2003 his clients have included the Manchester Evening News, Reed Business Information, Big Issue North, Smooth Radio, and Waitrose. He has lectured in law on courses accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists, the Broadcast Journalism Training Council and the Periodicals Training Council. He is a legal blogger for the Press Gazette and principal of the College of Media and Publishing.
