The author Nancy Rodd is a retired elementary teacher with 36 years of teaching experience. She is also a Christian and a grandmother and recognizes the importance of teaching biblical truths to children at a young age. The writing of this book was a labor of love , love for Jesus Christ and love for her granddaughters, Avery Jackson and Emmie Jackson age 9 and 7 who illustrated all the main characters and most of the other pictures in the book. After Emmie and Avery's illustrations, blank pages have been inserted for your child or grandchild to do their own creative pictures of the short stories. This book is a fun book for the entire family to become involved.
