Synopsis

Its currency, the US dollar, will soon collapse due to unsustainable massive government debt and historical forces beyond its control. Its middle class is being squeezed by both the public and private sector. The individual citizen finds himself battling large corporations and government at the same time. Ultimately, the current system that favors the wealthy and large corporations will implode. From the ashes of the outdated financial system will rise a more equitable financial and political system based on the return of the gold standard.

Kaya Colak, M.D., a Board Certified Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist, began his entrepreneurial career by creating and producing "Insight into The New Age," a six-hour audio program narrated by the late Willis Harman, Ph.D. in 1988. After graduating from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 1988, Dr. Colak graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan in 1993. He then served his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University from 1994 through 1998. Dr. Colak, who is the oldest of four children, is passionate about helping empower physicians in their professional lives. His deep concern for the enormous amount of federal government debt combined with a brilliant analysis of the current economic quandary of the nation have spurred the creation of this book. Dr. Colak has five children and resides in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
