Nancy Herrell Lockwood, a native of east Tennessee, has been drawing and painting for most of her seventy-five years. She worked twenty years as a graphic artist. Li l Critters, Nancy s children in disguise, were created in the seventies. Several critter stories were published in the Cumberland Presbyterian. An illustrated book of poems and children's stories was published in 2011. While husband Bob pastored churches in east Tennessee Nancy prepared and delivered the children s sermons, combining faith, fact and fun. Some were later revised for adults and read to residents of health care facilities. More lessons, inspired by those residents, followed. So well received by residents and staff, Nancy decided to offer this collection for reading to family and friends. Failing eyesight has almost ended new artwork, but Nancy finds illustrations in her fifty-year stash of drawings and paintings. This large print edition has been a labor of love since she depends on large print now.
