Synopsis

Is your child out of control? Do you fear him? Do you want to keep the problem hidden? You are not alone. I want you to avoid the mistakes I made and find God's peace much sooner than I did. I want to give you hope and encouragement to keep going! Raising my son gave me an experience that I know will help other parents who are desperately hoping for that “normal” life with their child. If we could just learn to trust each other and share our struggles, they may grow lighter; we may find that others have the same issues; and together we can strengthen, encourage and help each other. This is not as easy as it sounds, but I have opened my heart to you in telling my story. This book is the story of my pain and sadness, my joys and victories, and most of all, my learning experience as I let God mature me through a spiritual battle. You may find the answers for your distressed child, and more importantly, you may find the answers you need to keep making the right choices.

À propos de l'auteur

Kate Chattic is a mother of six children. Writing has been an enjoyable hobby for many years, but writing her story was not about enjoyment. It was about reaching out a hand of encouragement and love to other parents in need, especially so that they could avoid some of the mistakes that she made. She knows the pain of a troubled child and a broken marriage. She also knows the rewards of seeking God and persevering through the toughest situations. Currently, as a happily married, home schooling mom, she finds life even more fun when she is learning new skills and researching the internet! From DIY projects to organizing, gardening to raising meat chickens, nothing is off-limits! A native of Minnesota, Kate was transplanted to central Illinois in her late teens. She misses the lakes and people of Minnesota, but her family in Illinois is enough to keep her roots there. She writes from a Christian perspective and has plans for more books in the future!
