CHRISTOPHER J. ROE — PAINTER/POET — BIOGRAPHY I have been painting for over forty years and writing seriously for five years. After a forty-four year career in advertising as an award winning art director and graphic designer, I retired and moved to Warren to pursue my art and writing full time. I have written forty-one volumes of poetry as well as my memoir, Dead Rainbo, a novel, Death of a Poet and Chris Roe_The Lost Cartoons a collection of my cartoons. My poems have appeared in; PoetryMagazine.com, Vox Poetica, The Monarch Review, The Forge Journal, Apollo's Lyre, Black Heart Magazine and Your Daily Poem among others. As a painter I belong to: The Society of Figurative Arts Open Forum, Portrait Painters, "En Plein Air" Paintings and Painters, Realistic figurative paintings, Plein Air Painters Group, American Impressionist Society, Inc., Artists Rhode Island I was a Pushcart Prize nominee. My paintings are in private collections in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Europe. I live in both Warren, Rhode Island and the moment.
