Born and raised on the north-central plains near Eureka, South Dakota, Judy’s early experiences growing up on a farm and working next to her parents connected her strongly to the earth and developed her understanding of nature’s cycles, their inevitability and their beauty. Since retiring after thirty-eight years teaching public school, she has begun to share her unique perspective on life through poetry, prose, music, song, meditation and healing arts.
