Bruce Hitchcock and Mike Gratzke have co-authored this book out of a sense of urgency. We are living in a time of “Grace Crisis.” Current events worldwide coincide with the Matthew 24 and 25 Olivet Discourse questions: “what shall be the sign of your coming and the end of the world.” (Matthew. 24:3b) In light of this crisis, we are writing to motivate the people of God, out of our love for the church. However, our concern also extends to the unsaved. We would hope that both groups would understand grace. In addition, our expectation is that believers will take action to educate others about the eternal grace of God.This urgency concerns the eternal souls of God’s children, those saved by grace through faith, as well as those who have not yet entered into the Kingdom of God. The former need God’s grace for survival and spiritual growth in a morally corrupt and decaying world. The latter require God’s grace to escape this world and enter into fellowship with Jesus.This book has been influenced by authors like Charles Swindoll, John MacArthur, John Piper, R. C. Sproul, J.
