Leilani is, always has been, and likely always will be a student. Her professors at Reed College know her well and she was once told by her humanities professor that she reminded him of Walt Whitman in that the two of them “annoy the shit out of [him].” She has a passion for reading, exploring, writing, questioning, and starting fights with her best friends. One day she may be a scientist or a politician or an author or an activist. She hasn’t really figured that part out yet but, she believes in potential.
