À propos de l'auteur

Derek Ryan Jensen was born in Redwood City, California June 27, 1976. Born Derek James Bush and abducted between 1978 and 1993. During his abduction in 1982, Derek's name was changed to Bolingbroke as he attended schools all over California including Valley Presbyterian School, and others in Granada Hills. Until 1991 Derek thought the Bolingbroke family was his biological family until a biological family notified Derek of the truth. In 1993 Derek's name was returned to Bush when he moved to Moorpark, attending Moorpark High School where he began writing short stories and poems before graduating in 1994. It was at Moorpark High School where Derek met Ray Bradbury and several other legendary writers. Detail and evidence of Derek's abduction became available in May 2018. During his childhood, Derek spent many years with different youth groups including the Boy Scouts of America who took him backpacking over hundreds of miles of National Parks in the USA. After years of research and study Mr. Jensen became fluent in Spanish while teaching English in the Dominican Republic. He and his wife Miledys have two boys and two girls. Currently Mr. Jensen travels to Schools across California sharing his love for Nature and our National Parks while giving a motivational boost to children about surviving abuse and life as an orphan. Hiking, Backpacking and Camping in National Parks is an annual tradition for Derek and his family.
