Synopsis

Through an unusual set of circumstances, Mikal found himself plunging down to Heaven attached to the very instrument of his demise. What he would discover about the real Heaven, reincarnation, friendship, love, and adventure in the Afterlife would culminate at the showdown of Hell's legions marching into Heaven. While standing in line on the gold walkway, Mikal developed a friendship born of similar senses of humor and eventual respect for each other.Unaware of his heritage, Mikal discovers the identity of his father when he and his two new friends Luella and Aden apply for the Angel Corps. They are accepted into the Earth Human Monitoring program and head off to Basix Training where they're instructed by Drill Sergeant Priscus. After each is given a legendary weapon described either in Earth's history or mythology, they're sent off for specialized training. From that point on, nothing is as it seems as Lucifer's spies discover the true identity of Mikal. His demon Wizards have foretold, since the dawn of Man, his arrival which Lucifer sees as a sign of the Armageddon of Heaven. The final battle at Twilight Pass test the mettle of Mikal and concludes below starry skies.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Rick A. Waters is a disabled Vietnam Veteran who wrote his first book in 2014; a companion piece for his VA claim for long-term memory damage caused by copying high-speed Morse code for Army Intelligence; he was recruited by the National Security Agency with a job waiting in England. Rick Waters discovered two recently declassified redacted NSA documents which explained his problems. He is now on medications which help but do not fix his affliction. Rick is the tip of the melting iceberg of former O5h's who suffer in silence and are denied by the VA. A quest he continues to undertake in earnest! Due to Government restrictions, O5h-20 (The 96% True Journal of a Military Spy) couldn't be written for forty years. His second book took a pedestrian eight months to hammer out; the research involved in writing the Angel Corps was equally as extensive as the first!
