Synopsis

Prayer Changes Things is a prayer journal. It has 1000 blank entries and prayer quotes on every page. Why a prayer journal? Why document our prayer requests? For me its a simple answer. I fully believe that God is more glorified when we give Him the glory for things He has done; for the answers he gives. How many times have we prayed for a friend or had another prayer request, but then simply forgot it after the prayer left our thoughts? I believe that prayer is a 2 focused benefit. First, we get the benefit of actually spending time with almighty God. That is worthy enough of our time. But secondly, if we petition and ask God for something, whether it be some need being met or a physical healing, shouldn't we take the time to give Him glory when He answers? I believe that is missing in many people's prayer lives. We are so busy that sometimes we forget. I cannot tell you how many times I have prayed for things and then simply forgot. I have prayed for people who asked but then forgot to follow up on the answer. Surely if I am willing to pray then I should also be willing to give glory when the prayer is answered.
