Mikkita Moore, mother of five, is a master stylist now working in corporate America and owner of Symply Plyzurez Eventz since 2004. A proven professional leader in event-planning, teaching and mentoring, Mikkita has owned two full-service hair salons in Chicago. As a current college student at Kaplan University, she is earning a Bachelor of Science degree forensic psychology. Although Mikkita has chosen to move forward in her career, she is not deterred from her passion of working with and advocating for teens and women who are striving to overcome depression. Mikkita is boldly taking her present and future by storm as she has authored an upcoming memoir to her father called “The Letter…. From the Invisible Daughter” which published June of 2016.
