Synopsis

Zack Hansen, biker, Vietnam vet, ex-POW and possible mental case, is back in town. Old hostilities are re-ignited as the biker, once described as "the meanest man in town," returns for the funeral of his estranged son, Jeremiah. Questions arise. Was it an accident or murder? Was it related to his drug abuse or a mob hit? And just who is the father of Jeremiah's son Jake?

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Chuck Hocter was born a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. He should be so lucky! In actuality, he was born and raised in the hills of southern Ohio, over which he pretty much ran wild until he was corralled and sent to school where he began a lifelong love affair with words. On graduating from High School, with no money for college, no job prospects and the draft board hot-breathing his neck, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and spent twenty years touring the world, trying to avoid getting shot. After failing miserably at retirement and holding down a few manufacturing jobs-including being head dust bunny herder in a lint factory, Chuck now resides on a farm with his lovely wife Theresa and a herd of not-so-lovely cows, where he serves as a source of cheap labor and occasional amusement for his kids, grand kids and great grand kids. Oh, and he likes to ride motorcycles.
