À propos de l'auteur

Marcus Johnson is a collegiate English instructor, writer, consultant, mentor to at-risk youth, and an aficionado of politics, social science, and various genres of literature. In addition to wearing these hats, he is also a dedicated worker within his religious community. Although he has spent the majority of his life in metro Atlanta, Georgia, he still claims Palmyra, Virginia as his hometown. Unlike the poetry and short stories that he has self-published and had published in literary magazines, Marcus’s first nonfiction work – Concentrated Blackness – has been driven by an intense love for his people and what he identifies as critical to the self-determinism of those people.
