Her books include A Soldier"s Strength from the Psalms, Healing for the Holes in Our Souls, and Where is Happy?. She has also published "Wisdom from the Rearview Mirror", a perpetual flip-desk devotion calendar. Sharon and her husband, Colonel (Ret) Garry Patterson, are the parents of three grown sons. Two sons presently serve in the US Army.
