There are quite a few things you should do to prepare for your death besides just discussing funeral arrangements and writing up a will. How will your estate be handled? What will happen to your pets? And what about your digital assets (computer files, Facebook account, etc.)?
These questions and more are addressed in A Legal Guide to Growing Older: Arizona Edition. It’s packed full of practical advice designed to increase your knowledge and provide information specific to Arizona law.
The financial costs of not planning ahead for the legal issues associated with death can be steep. It’s important to have everything arranged far in advance, and you should rely on a professional to talk you through putting together a will or other documents, rather than trying to do it yourself.
Ever wonder whether you need a will, trust, or neither; how to avoid probate without a trust; or pitfalls and problems of beneficiary designations, joint accounts, and other non-probate transfers? Find out with this book.
In addition to being a Board Certified Specialist in Estate and Trust Law attorney in Arizona, Ronald Zack is a registered nurse with experience in emergency departments, intensive care, and hospice. He speaks with the expertise of an attorney but the compassion and knowledge of a medical professional.
