Since 1998, Khadija Anderson has worked with young children as an Early Childhood Educator in Washington State and California. She has worked in large and small facilities including being a director for a large in-home center that served 33 children, lead teacher in several Montessori schools' preschool and toddler rooms, and as an assistant in a Reggio Emilia based preschool. She has a BA in Liberal Studies/Early Childhood Education (focusing on alternative pedagogies), and an MFA in Creative Writing. The mother of 4, ages 13-30, since 2005 Khadija Anderson has owned and operated a small progressive in-home play based daycare.
