Omkari Williams began her professional life as an actor – work that perfectly suited her fascination with story. For over 20 years she explored stories of characters, while fictional, who spoke to universal human truths. Then she decided to take a break and explore other aspects of life. She moved into a meditation ashram where she spent three years diving into understanding life, herself, and ways to live in our complicated world with grace and ease. Today, Omkari writes and speaks on story and its importance in our individual and collective lives. In her life and creativity coaching practice she helps clients share their unique stories. “Our stories are the bridges between us and others,” she says. “Sharing our stories can help heal the world.” Her work has been published in Elephant Journal, Tattooed Buddha, My Empowered World, and Paprika Southern magazine. A native of Manhattan she now lives in Savannah, Georgia - a city that loves it stories. Connect with Omkari at omkariwilliams.com and on her Facebook page.
