À propos de l'auteur

Annette M. Spector - Annette attended P.S. 247 for elementary school and Lafayette High School in Brooklyn, New York. She then earned her B.A. degree in Education from Brooklyn College and later her M.S.Ed. degree from Queens College. She is certified in elementary education and learning disabilities. Annette spent many years as an elementary school teacher in both public and private schools specializing in remedial reading, writing , study and organizational skills. In 1985 Annette established her own private practice as an educational consultant working with children, parents, and teachers dealing with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder. As executive director of Diagnostic and Educational Resources, Inc. Annette provided a full range of services including psycho-educational testing, remedial tutoring, parent and teacher workshops, and speaking engagements at national conferences on best practices in reading and writing for students with learning challenges. Annette and her husband moved from their home in Falls Church, Virginia, where they lived for forty years, and in 2009 drove across country to San Francisco to be close to their two daughters and grandchildren. This new chapter of their lives is filled with much joy and contentment,
