Evan D. Baltz’s passion for the Word of God is evident in his writings. Over the last 20 years his presentation of the Word, whether it be through proclamation, teaching, or the written word, has dynamically drawn people into a deeper understanding of God. He combines an irreverent sense of humor with a scholarly reverence for Scripture, making his books enjoyable, thought-provoking, and instructive for young and old, new believer and theologian. Evan graduated from Bethel Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in 1992 after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Iowa State University. He has served both as a youth pastor and senior pastor, as well as speaking at numerous conferences and retreats. Several of his articles and sermons have been published nationally. In 1997 Evan founded Exangello Ministries, which seeks to “proclaim, declare, and publish abroad the Word of God.” The ministry’s web site has maintained a web presence for more than 15 years, and has been visited by thousands of people from around the world.
