Ronald C. McGilvray is a Kathleen Downey Short Fiction Award winner and has been writing poetry for much of his life. "Secrets, Scrawls and Strays - And Other Virgin Verses" is the first collection of his work to be published. His poetry has appeared in collections and the publications "Lad O' Pairts Vol. 1 - Hope Over Fear" and "Worcester Magazine". Ron has also enjoyed a loyal following and world-wide audience of readers in his online projects "Thistle Diaries" and "Secrets , Scrawls and Strays". Among many of his diversions, his most enjoyable was as a newspaper reporter and editor, and has lived all over New England and traveled extensively. He now resides in Spencer, MA with his wife Sandra.
